Far Away is a short surrealist play by the English playwright, Caryl Churchill. Set in a dystopian future within which the world itself and all that sojourn upon it have turned to war. The birds, bees, trees and even the weather has taken sides in the apocalyptic fallout of the climate crisis.
In this quiet epic, we hone in on Harper, Joan and Toad. Disjointedly witnessing snippets of their lives as they attempt normality in their oppressive environment.
